Take me out to the ballgame...

It seems like all things "fun" fall on my work weekends. I know I only work one weekend a month, and I know we do fun things on my non-work weekends, but it still feels like it falls that way. This weekend, it sort of worked to my advantage. Todd was the person in charge for the Marquette Alumni Club of the Carolina's night at the Carolina Mudcats. It's tough for me to work until 6 and him to be there at 5, so I had a great excuse to take off a few hours early. It really worked to my advantage though... we had a record-breaking Saturday at work, so I was more than ready to hit the road at 3:00 and not look back! It was 90 degrees and probably close to 90% humidity, but I think everyone had a great time. I know that the kids thought it was great, even if they didn't watch more than 30 seconds of the entire game :)
