Band of Pirates

Friday night the church and preschool hosted a concert with Mr. Jim and his Band of Pirates.  Mr. Jim is the kids' music teacher and they think the world of him!  There is a great little amphitheater in between the new buildings at the church that was absolutely perfect.  We brought dinner and let the kids run around.  Several kids from their classes were there too, so the kids had a great time.  As you can see from the pictures, they started out watching Mr. Jim and dancing, but they quickly took off, running circles around everyone!

After the concert ended, the kids were having such a good time, so we invited everyone over to our house to roast marshmallows and let the kids play.  Wouldn't you know that the second we started walking to the car, it started drizzling.  By the time everyone got to our house, it was a full out downpour!  Thankfully, the rain eventually blew over and the guys got a fire started.  We all got to roast marshmallows and the adults got to enjoy a few adult beverages :)
