We just got back from a GREAT weekend, appropriately named WPWTW. It stands for Wedding Party Without The Wedding. Basically, the group of guys went to high school together, stayed in touch, were in each other's weddings, etc. Well, the last one finally bit the dust and got married last year. Since we all span from one coast to the other, we had to have a reason to get together if we all still wanted to see each other, so the concept was born. The kids all played well together and everyone had a great time. We're totally exhausted and still recovering, but it was well worth it! You can visit this site for all of the WPWTW chaos! We spent time on either side of the weekend in Rockford to visit Grandma & Grandpa. Grandma was nice enough to watch the kiddos so that the rest of us could go to the Cubs game on Thursday night. After raining most of the day, the weather turned out to be beautiful that night. The game was unbelievably exciting - the Cubs came back to win it in the bottom of the 8th. Pretty awesome to see in person!

The plane ride went SOOO much better this time! Yay!

Grandma & Grandpa have cars at their house too
