The hunt didn't start until 10am, but we got there at 9am to get good parking and enjoy some other festivities. They had a bubble machine, bounce houses, fire trucks to climb in, ambulances, police cars, etc. The kids had a blast... well, Kate definitely did anyway. Brett still wasn't feeling quite 100%, but I think he had fun too.

Fire girl Kate gets buckled in for safety!

$2 for a bounce house that she refused to bounce in... this was as close as we got

The rest of the time, she layed like this and cried

Brett, on the other hand, LOVED every minute of the bounce house!

The giant slide that Kate insisted that we go down, even though the sign said "no children under age 3." Brett looks at least 3, even though he's still 2, but I had to go down with Kate either way, so up we went!

Sitting with Memere & Poppy, getting ready to "find" eggs (they were every few inches all over the baseball field, in case you couldn't see it in the background)

They mainly had the nasty marshmallow eggs - yuck!

Of course, the kids had to eat one egg right away

You can't go to the park without going to the playground!

Brett & Kate LOVE to slide!

Kate takes Poppy on a little stroll to check out which activity to try next

My little acrobat has no fear!

Definitely the highlight of the park - the airplane!

Hopefully, this is as close to a motorcycle ride as she'll ever get!

This was fun! Let's do it again!
