Bond Park Easter Egg Hunt

Last Saturday (4/4), we took the kids to Bond Park in Cary for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. "We" being me and my parents, aka Memere & Poppy. Todd had his Fantasy Baseball Draft that day.

The hunt didn't start until 10am, but we got there at 9am to get good parking and enjoy some other festivities. They had a bubble machine, bounce houses, fire trucks to climb in, ambulances, police cars, etc. The kids had a blast... well, Kate definitely did anyway. Brett still wasn't feeling quite 100%, but I think he had fun too.

The rest of the time, she layed like this and cried



Brett, on the other hand, LOVED every minute of the bounce house!



The giant slide that Kate insisted that we go down, even though the sign said "no children under age 3." Brett looks at least 3, even though he's still 2, but I had to go down with Kate either way, so up we went!

They mainly had the nasty marshmallow eggs - yuck!

Of course, the kids had to eat one egg right away

Hopefully, this is as close to a motorcycle ride as she'll ever get!
