Skytop

While we were in Asheville for Michael & Gretchen's wedding (see below), we were able to take a little drive south to Skytop Orchard. It was definitely busy, but it was fun to walk around and check everything out. It was peak season for Pink Lady apples (Brett's favorite), so I asked where they were located so that we could go pick them. The guy pointed to a patch of tall trees, and said to go just beyond that patch to the right. So we went... and we went... and we went... I'm pretty sure we hiked off one mountain and around another, but either way, we found them! And they were GOOD!

Apple donuts - if you've never had them, you should!
Considering I was cold and tired, it wasn't a bad picture...
Lots of apples
I LOVE, and I do mean LOVE apple butter!
Gotta find those Pink Lady apples :)
So many choices!!

In search of Brett's Pink Lady apples - I was determined :)
We found them - hooray!
There was this little bamboo forest - sort of weird, sort of cute
