Air & Space Museum

While we were in D.C., we decided to take advantage and do something touristy that the kids would enjoy, so we ended up at the National Air & Space Museum.  Between the shuttle launch a few weeks ago and playing at Life & Science Museum by us, the kids were really excited to see more space stuff!  They were definitely more interested in the space exhibits than the airplanes, but I think they enjoyed it all!
The Lunar Module (similar to the one used during Apollo 11) and inside the Skylab Orbital Workshop
Wright Brothers and Amelia Earhart Exhibits
The Jet Engines, especially the 787 (which Grandpa has done a lot of work with), and the Moon Rock
The Kid section - flying a plane, and learning lots of physics lessons!
